Landscape Tasks to Add to Your Fall Checklist

Seasons are changing around here which means that summer is coming to an end and fall is starting up here in Northern Arizona. With that we wanted to remind everyone to add of a couple things to your Fall Checklist so that your beautiful landscape is taken care of to the best of your ability.

First, decide on a plan to collect all the pine needles and leaves that will start to fall in your yard, as well as, trim up any and all dead limbs and flowers on your plants. This plan could look like a Saturday with the family cleaning up the yard together or calling a company (like us!) to come out and do a fall clean-up for you. But whichever way you decide to go about it we believe that it is in your yards best interest to make some kind of plan.

Next, we are nearing the end of the growing season here in Flagstaff and winter will be here sooner than you think. With that if you have irrigation it is important to add “Winterize Irrigation” to your checklist to ensure that the system does not freeze over the winter.
