Agassiz Landscape Group's Involvement with the Community

Over the last couple of weeks, Agassiz Landscape Group has had the opportunity to get involved with the community through the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce's "Transition from School to Work Program." Twice a semester, a mentor from a local Flagstaff company visits the classroom to talk about what they do and how to become a part of the workforce after finishing school. The second day is then spent on a field trip to a typical jobsite so that the students can see firsthand what it's like to work for that company.

This was Agassiz Landscape Group's first involvement with the program, which turned out to be a great success. The photos above show Coconino High School students geared up and working alongside our Maintenance Manger, Isaac, and with our company owners, Jenn and Jeff Hartin.
